Day 1: 219 lbs - I'll Never Be Here Again!

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I'm fat.

Heh...that sentence alone, made me cry a little. Usually I say I feel fat...But never have I flat out said, "I. Am. Fat". Whew, that was a toughie. But there. I've admitted one problem...the biggest problem. That's a good start.

The rose colored blur of the holidays is pretty much over. And with that comes the startling realization that I have tipped the scales at the highest weight I have ever been. 219...I didn't even think that number could ever exist for me. I feel tired. I feel disgusting. I feel fat.....I AM fat. With Diabetes, obesity, heart problems, and a slew of other health issues I have yet to hear of running rampant in my family, I need to change something. Now. With trying to get pregnant, I need to change something. Now.

I'm tired of feeling ugly. I'm tired of my thighs rubbing together. I'm tired of that line of sweat I get on my shirts in the summer. I'm tired of my knees hurting. I'm tired of not having sex nearly as much as I want to. So I'm changing things. Now.

My Goals:

My overall goal is to say goodbye to 69 pounds.
My huge goal is 50 lbs by Phoenix Comicon, which is the Memorial Day weekend. (21 weeks!)
In order for 50 lbs by PCC to happen, I'll need to hit at least 189 lbs by March 27th, just in time for my birthday!

From 219 to 150! My mini goals and prizes!

214 - Pedicure
209 - Manicure
204 - Lush shopping trip
199 - New Jeans
194 - Lingerie Set
189 - Birthday outfit (hit by March 27th)
184 - Spa treatment
179 - Toy (wink wink nudge nudge)
174 - Super Sexy Outfit
169 - Pride - I'll be looking hot at PCC (hit by May 23rd)
164 - Tattoo
159 - Something leather
154 - Suicide Girl style boudoir shoot
150 - New Wardrobe! I can be anybody I want to be!

How am I going to do this? Healthy choices. I know for a fact I have beautiful muscle tone hidden under this whale blubber on my body. The main thing I need to do is eat right. I found an AMAZING site, Blogilates. Cassey Ho has some a ton of super fantastic pilate workouts on there. There is a 90 day challenge with a weekly menu plan that I will be using as my healthy food basis. So for the first 90 days there will be super clean eating. I'll be utilizing her monthly workout calendars as well. I want that lean dancer body, and pilates are going to be the easiest on my old lady knees.

So welcome to my beginning. We're going to start by taking things one day at a time. I can do this. And if anybody is following along, you can do this, too.
